In any case, I agree that obesity should not be considered an acceptable way of life. There's no reason to be mean about it, but being supportive and helpful can help people become healthier, more active, more productive, whatever. People who are way overweight (or way underweight for that matter) shouldn't be convinced that it's a valid lifestyle choice, but rather encouraged become a healthier, happier person.

Political correctness is at cause for those over weight simply because it is not right or nifce to cal fat people fat. I must say that obese really does not sound better than FAT! especially with morbid before the word. With political correctness comes the notion that an individual or group should embrace and celebrate their difference. An end result of this 'correctness' are the 'BBW' that can now revel and wallow in their rolls of fat with impunity.
This is a medical condition not a political front. It is like the Irish celebrating drunkeness and bashing heads together as a trait of their people.
It's stupid. Fat people have a tendency to be stupid especially when they say that nothing works to take the weight away.
It's very simple: Quit stuffing the whole bag of Cheetos down your throat, get one order of fries, not two and whatever you do, just be sure you have a diet soda to wash it all down.

I believe that humankind, 200,000 years later, is more intelligent than the neanderthal if for no other reason because we are utilizing today's technology. But then, even a caveman can do it.
